I remember having a crush on a few people who liked this album when it just came out, but it never made me any more favorable to it

Teenagers still sucks. Rest of the album actually rips.

I at least agree that the song is a hot pile of dogshit and I’ve skipped it both times ive heard this album.

I wasn’t paying too close attention but it seems like it doesn’t even really fit in with the narrative of the record either? I don’t really even care if it does that song is fucking annoying and I’ll be grabbing a $20 stadium beer when they play it

I like Teenagers but it is definitely the worse here and I think the album would be even better if one of the b-sides took its place.

The Sharpest Lives is what hooked me here first, I’ve still only listened to this but do their earlier records have that more punk flavor to it?

Legit might be my favorite song here

Their albums before this are decidedly more punk

Figured, I’ll def give those a shot. It’s probably stupid to say at this point but Gerard just goes so over the top with some of these melodies, it’s always what put me off the band. The dude can sing but I feel like I would have so much more fun with this band without him fucking caterwauling all over some tracks.

Even my gf thinks the last album sucks so I guess I don’t really have any intention on checking that out… but she doesn’t really like the first record much either, which really tells me that’s the shit I should be jamming lol

I gotta say even tho I don’t LOVE the band… they fucking killed it the other night. GF had a great time, I was vibing to some of it, then they fucking brought out Billy Corgan and played Bullet With Butterfly Wings and now I just want Billy to tour with MCR as his backing band. He and Gerard sounding fucking amazing together
