One thing i learned a long time ago (and this site was partially responsible for helping me grasp that concept) is that music is literally so subjective you just can't force someone to explain exactly what aspects he doesn't like. Jamming music is so basic and fundamental to our everyday routine that we just go and do it without over-analyzing things. And most of listeners never actually sit down and ask themselves what they like or dislike in a music genre or album, etc. They will tell you straightaway "I just don't like it".

Don't even start me talking about the psychological reasons behind all that, things get messy and chaotic really easy.

Even on this site, which is supposed to house conversations about music, you will rarely come across discussions where the users analyze exactly what they do like in an album/genre.

Which leads me to believe that most people just don't know why they like it...

Hates GnR and loves Trivium? Lol, it's not even subtle.

"I'm sure there's another real human being with that combo, somewhere."

Can anyone with that combo be called a real human being? I'm leaning towards no.

SUSAN MCKAGAN said this about the new GnR's album:
"I can't say much, but I've heard bits and bobs and it's pretty, pretty epic."
I'm super hyped rn tbh.

The fact that the chosen "review" on this is a 2.0 is an absolute joke - one of the best albums of all time, no one who has ever played guitar would give this lower than a 3.0.

i feel like their live performances with buckethead are as good as music will ever get. i dont think i'll ever listen to anything better than those while i'm alive and i'm okay with that as long as they're on youtube
