its quite good - iffy in the brann singing parts (i'll probably come around) but troy's vocals rule and I'm usually a big critic of those. they sound more gruff and closer to his screams than what he's been doing a lot recently (but they're definitely not screams, don't get too excited lol). relatively heavy, especially in comparison to their pop-sound. the ending riff is great as well. really enjoyable song imo

wow troy sounds better than ever here while brann sounds more nasal for whatever reason. scott kelly kills it as usual. great riffs from bill also.

surprised the B-sides album is half filled with live tracks and instrumentals, when there are other tracks they could have put on. thinking some of their covers like The Bit (Melvins), Emerald (Thin Lizzy) and Just Got Paid (ZZ Top).

Fuck yes it does.

But hang on — is it just Fallen Torches, it is there an actual B sides album? I don’t see one on Spotify or anything.

04. Capillarian Crest (Live)

05. A Spoonful Weighs a Ton

06. Toe to Toes (Instrumental)

07. Circle of Cysquatch (Live)

08. Atlanta (Ft. Gibby Haynes)

09. Jaguar God (Instrumental)

10. Cut You Up With a Linoluem Knife

11. Blood & Thunder (Live)

12. White Walker

Pretty cool looking comp. Mostly live stuff and intstrumentals though looks like.

^massive tracklist but yeah the instrumentals seem random (even more so than the live tracks) and it's missing a few cover songs like @el_newg said.

Would be cool if they released a cover album like BTBAM did.

I feel like Fallen Torches sounds like Andromeda in the beginning? Same vibes, at least. A bit awkward at timeS, although it still is a great track. I can see why they chose it to be a B-Side though

Pretty cool song except for the chorus.

Bill brought some thick riffs.

New song is pretty sweet, basically sounds like a continuation of this.

That tracklisting is lazy af on the new album, though

We've heard all those songs live a million times on previous albums...

New song is good, I didn't expect anything exciting from mastodon and I'm a bit surprised.
