I gave his older brother Symbolic and he said it was "okay I guess", but his favorite band is like We Came As Romans. So I gave him Alaska and Toxicity and he felt those were more of his style.

Weirdly enough I've been listening to death metal for over 15 years and I'm listening to this album for the first time.

I had NO FUCKING IDEA that Masvidal was on guitar for this album otherwise I would have jumped on it years ago.

Obviously this album rules.

Lol that's fair and I was well aware of this band's influence. I'm just a huge Cynic fan and less into older tech death so knowing that about this album would have incentivised me to be more excited about hearing it.
