Well, it sounded like you were trying to do more than that. Particularly with that analogy above.
More than enough people that seem to think they need to repeat their supposedly "objective" criticisms that don't matter in the end anyway. I talked to this guy just recently who went on about how punk is objectively bad because it's simple and amateurish music.

Post punk I'll do but I'd steer clear of the philosophy. Kitchen sink melodrama is my bag. Songs titles of 'Nancy pays the debts' 'hand car-wash opportunity' 'Pittance from servitude'
That sort of thing :D

Having it be about philosophy would just piss that particular guy off like hell because he loves that shit - which I'm obviously in favor of. But both work for me, those song titles already sound good.
