Wilson's production is awesome, but I agree this one is really not his best production work

You really don't respect the opinions of others much do you?

depends if they are good or not

Pots doesn't even like Maiden so why should we listen :P

for that exact reason. because im honest enough to admit not liking a widely cherished band. i will not bullshit you, its a part of my charm.

I don't doubt you mean it, but you just can't expect us to agree. I mean, you have peculiar tastes bro it's just that simple.

I actually like the sterility of the atmosphere, especially with softer songs like Lips of Ashes and Trains

Haha okay Pots. Don't know why you're sticking around saying this has "objectively over-polished" production if you don't care if we agree, but I'm glad you don't. My idea of peculiar tastes is no more than you've said yourself in disliking Maiden and 1.0ing this album so laugh if you like. I'm going to listen to Powerslave now :]

@FiveLeavesLeft agreed

@Gentleman haha you'd be friends with Stalin if he 5'd Alturas

fallenbird you can gtfo of any PT discussion you have a Muse album 5'd and they're sterile as shite.

production rules, songs rule. don't know how you can tell me heartattack in a layby is sterile. that song is effing haunting and supremely sad...ESPECIALLY within the overall concept of the album. holy shit

Strip The Soul gives me chills. Production wouldn't work if it wasn't like this (imagine Trains being more raw), so I have no idea how this can be "objectively over-polished"
