@Zac reading that comment after MCR sold out a stadium tour in seconds nearly 20 years after this released is hilarious

I've hated this album for 20 years and even I knew then it wasn't going to simply go away. It sold too many copies.

Damn, persistent hate. Not even sure it makes that much sense w those genres at your top (you have a fucking Lifelover 5, that band is infinitely more "overdramatic" than this) but i kinda respect the persistence

Idk I don't really feel sad about Bob dying knowing he was a massive piece of shit

AFAIK he held some shitty views and went down a really dark path...yeah someone being severely mentally ill and then outcasted, then going down the conspiracy nut rabbithole feels more like a societal neglect thing. when you're already fucked in the head and have no support system, it's a hell of a lot easier to be susceptible to that shit.
this is personal experience speaking, i'd like to say i am one of the lucky ones that got out of that, and i'm still trying to fight the fear of being outcasted for denouncing certain names

When the world finds out you're dead only three weeks after you died, you're not in a good place. I never met him, but everything I read makes me think of mental illness, and I'm sorry to hear it ended up like this.

that's also been a fear of mine for a long time and why there's a part of me that doesn't want to live alone
even if its just a roommate, if something ever happens to me while I'm at home, they'll know, the thought that my closest friends may not know for weeks due to our physical distance is something I've always been a tad scared of.

gf somehow managed to cop 2 tickets for their Chicago date and I’m afraid to ask how much she spent but oh well… guess I better try to get into these guys. Obv this is the most important record, are all the others worth checking out too?

you srsly haven't heard Bullets???

Three Cheers for certain. Not sure about the other two, Bullets is the most agressive, Killjoys the slowest and the lightest, check if you're curious but Three Cheers is obligatory (for lack of a better word).

It’s a bad idea but they’re her favorite band and it’s her favorite album… I don’t have a choice lmfao
In all fairness I would be doing the exact same shit if I were in her shoes, it’s just for the most part I like bands that cost like $50 max to see, I wouldn’t be surprised if these tickets were like $400
