Forgot that it was required that you use double bass on literally every song if you're a metal drummer tho yeah

And yet the drumming is still better than the vox...

The double bass part in Fight Fire with Fire is one of the best things ever though

Also almost all you itt criticising Lars gave this album a 4.5 or 5 so is it really that big of a deal?

His drumming was okay in studio. Live he pretty much ruins everything these days

He is quite a simplistic drummer but what he does fits well.

"I can only think of one song where Lars uses double kick. Fight Fire with Fire. Oh and Orion."

lol no memory of one of their most iconic moments in One? or the last verse in Damage Inc. (or every verse in Dyer's Eve)? the heavy chorus of Leper Messiah? oh and those triplets in its interlude? I won't go any further but basically AJFA is full of double bass, this one has lots of it too it's just a bit harder to hear it. and anyone talking shit about Lars's drumming needs to see Seattle '89.

"Live he pretty much ruins everything these days"

that's true tho, sadly

Studio Lars and Studio Kirk are OK up until & including Load, after that they stopped being musicians entirely. Live they've positively fucked up everything basically since the day they've existed. Jeez, Lars always gets the shit for his drumming but Kirk is faaaar worse imho

Damn the remaster sounds pretty sick. Noticeable difference when I was listening to Disposable Heroes.

Yeah it's sweet dude - definitely an improvement. I just don't care enough to actually spend money on it again though.
