Also both are fairly generic rock songs by APC standards. I've been listening to these guys since day 1. Hate it when people act like the singles are the be-all-end-all when it's so not the case.

Tbh APC is one of the few bands whose lyrics I've studied the most. But that song is basically Maynard being angsty at his mom and it's almost juvenile. If you ask me Wings For Marie is a far more mature examination of his mother's faith.
