BM has far more variety therefore a better genre but DM is a lot better than thrash, so there's that.

Yeah, not to say there aren't some incredible thrash bands/albums but as a whole its a pretty bland genre if I am being quite honest, family.

Disagree so hard Ocean, at least with the last part of your statement.. I can enjoy all 3 no matter what time of year. I mean obviously bm is better in winter etc, but I never understood people that only listen to certain music depending on what season it is.
