If the new album is some exercise in "hey let's see how many different genres I can slap into one album" I'm gonna see some pretty crushing reviews coming in.
Also, not digging that new song. I really really really dislike that kind of spoken word type "singing". I could live with the rest of song with actual singing.

Scream isn't as offensively awful as the other two songs but it's just a scrappy throwaway nothing.
It sounds like the sort of experiment that would be the worst track on one of Tricky's least impressive albums.
I'm now feeling obligated out of a civic duty to review this album

listened to it like 5 times already it's nuts goes so hard. it's so pounding and aggressive. those screams are awesome. i dig that little surf rock riff so much and that bass is monstrous

Give it a bit of plink plonk plink, helium vox, 80s pop with j-pop bits and pieces, throw in drugs, hipsterishness, aloof attitude augment it with stylish cover art and you're on a winner love.

Plus, I could write sarcastic descriptions like that for literally 90% of everyone's favorite artists and particularly anything that has to do with indie - the genre where every vocalist comes from the same boring high pitched whiny hivemind.
