It was but I think it's cool that the band is (hopefully) re-exploring old material. Especially ones that have really refined their sound, I think more should be willing to put another spin on old stuff. That being said, if they just re-record the vocals I think they're missing an opportunity. But I dig those new vocal lines.

The vocal lines are different also. Or maybe he pulled things out of the harmony from the first and made them more of a main vocal line.

They're not that different, but I do like this new vocal tracks better. His harsh vocals are better, and I like that he's enunciating more clearly. Dude kinda sounds like he's chewing something on the old version
