Oh right, and for the record I like Rush a lot, I have no idea why you seem to think otherwise.

Album Rating: 4.0
Because so many rush records are worthy of a 5
|

Maybe for you/according to your rating system but not for me.

Album Rating: 4.0
How come you almost never rate anything?
|
| |
My ratings on here were a mess and a lot of them were for stuff I hadn't listened to in years and so my opinions had changed etc. so I got them wiped. I believe you're already aware that a lot of my updated ratings are on my RYM profile.

your account is only 5 years old tho, does music fade away so fast?
|
| |
It doesn't fade away; tastes/opinions change, naturally.
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.0
but if you find one album a classic, but gets tired of it, that doesn't make it worse tho
|
| |
I'm not saying that happened.
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.0
I'm not saying you do, it's sort of a question
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
I'm not saying it is.
|
| |
Well if you "get tired of it" that usually means liking it less than you did before therefore if you rate based on enjoyment of music then it would make sense if the rating dropped to reflect that.

lol
I used to be bothered by Seamus and San Tropez but eventually I came to realize they are pretty good songs for what they are, definitely not as awful as people make em out to be
|
| |
I think Seamus works well in the context of the album. San Tropez not so much but it's not terrible or anything.

ya grew to love every second of this album

Album Rating: 4.0
actually, this album used to be 4,5. I changed the rating just a few days ago.

Album Rating: 5.0
Yeah Seamus is in a perfect spot, a great breather before the storm. San Tropez didn't click with me till I aquired an early 70s pressing of this on vinyl. Somehow made me actually like it rather than just having tolerate it... Its a cool throwback to their earlier Beatles sound, though Syd obviously wrote much better psych pop songs
