they put on an insane show. amazing live band

Ruinism by Lapalux one of my fav albums of all time by one of my fav artists of all time but also a very polarizing entry in Lapalux discog

That’s probably because it’s a huge hyperbolic stretch entirely constructed to be incendiary

But there genuinely are sounds here and there on that album that do inform the jest

The two biggest things it reminded me of were certain sounds from ruinism and then obviously Vangelis

i have grown apart from the wonkier side of electronic music

Ruinism isn’t my fave lux, but definitely check ‘em out. Amnioverse is one of the best album of the last 5 years

the best electronic music for me is either super chilled/ambient-y (trip hop comes to mind, and the deus ex osts) or its stuff like pendulum
