I like Dawn to Fear better than this, there's just something about the production of that thing that makes is sound colossal. This is still brilliant of course, but I don't think I see what makes it stand out in their (stellar) discography.

I wonder if this will hold it’s 5/5 post-Dawn... thinking it has fallen to 3rd place. If the current situation holds out as expected I either need to drop it from the ‘exclusive’ list, or declare CoL my fave band.

Dim and Dark City are heavyweights. Finland is cool. All the other songs are okay i suppose, but not special.

The only weak song is "And With Her Came the Birds". Everything else is good here.

A nearly flawless 3/5 album

Good =/= peak music, or a favourite, or flawless.

There are so many albums with mostly good songs.
