I definitely group this album and Still Life together in my mind as far as Opeth eras go, but this was my first Opeth record and will always be my favorite of the two and easily top 3 in their discog.
Also literally the first record with harsh vocals I got into and enjoyed.
Also also while I feel like I have to be kind of nitpicky to say much bad about Deliverance it's probably my least favorite/least listened to metal era Opeth record.
