and radiohead was a talking heads song
so it's perfect

"these songs on here were b sides?"
No, that's just something that Someguest likes to say. He believes that they're all just Kid A outtakes since both albums came from the same sessions.

'since both albums came from the same sessions.'
then i might agree with him to a certain extent
|

I feel like the two albums should have been one double album.
I mean, either way they'd be my #1 and #2 or just my #1.

I prefer this version of morning bell as well.

i like this better than kid a.....i also enjoy the second disc on in rainbows.....perhaps i enjoy radiohead's secondary output better

Their primary outputs are definitely best, except that the Live from the Basement version of The King of Limbs is better than the studio version, at least for me and everyone I know.

I actually like the studio version of TKOL better, oddly enough.

Honestly everything this band does is at least great, besides some of Pablo Honey and the filler on Thief and this.

I feel like the two albums should have been one double album [2]
Yeah it would have been sweet.
I heart they didn't want to make it double because they didn't want a ton of people skipping tracks like "Treefingers" and "Hunting Bears"

"besides some of Pablo Honey and the filler on Thief and this."
Almost agreed until you said "and this" ugh.

This is almost as good as Kid A

I prefer Thief to this. Amnesiac feels like Kid A B-sides, it's pretty obvious.

Nah man, it's just that they were going to make Kid/Amnesiac a double album and they decided not to and split it into two discs that they thought were equals, but shows the two different sides of the sessions they did.

They said this is considered its own album, not just a collection of B-sides / leftovers from Kid A. Life in a Glasshouse, one of the highlights on here, wasn't even recorded in the same sessions as the other tracks.

And You And Whose Army?, Dollars and Cents, Knives Out, Morning Bell/Amnesiac... all amazing too
Hell I even love Hunting Bears (a lot more than Treefingers at least)

enjoying A sides over B sides is purely subjective.....there's no difference between the two other than a collection of songs that the band themselves wanted to showcase for you to hear first

Treefingers is a fantastic soundscape, better than Hunting Bears and Pulk/Revolving Doors imo
