I really didn't want to like this. I got it on vinyl for Christmas though and that went out the window in a hurry.

Because they're angsty drug-induced ravings taken straight out of Sylvia Plath?

The only lyrics I can really distinguish through listening is the "I want to dream" bit. Other than that the lyrics don't really matter much.

I got the LP so I rather enjoy sitting with the sheet of lyrics in front of me. Makes for an immersive experience, like having the vinyl makes me privy to the album's deeper secrets or some silly nonsense like that.

Dude, have a little fun sometimes. There's nothing wrong with buying into the old-fashioned experience of an album, artwork and all, and listening with a sense of wonder.

I got it on vinyl too just so I could flaunt it over all the poor people who love this album but can't afford it.

Or my parents got it for me for Christmas.

...whatever. New topic. Anyone else think USBM is becoming a respectable genre with Cormorant, Deafheaven, Wolves, Caladan Brood, Agalloch, etc leading the way?

(Also, it's $22 on Amazon. That's only $12 more than digital.)
