it just doesnt really sound like a true floyd record to me. waters was the "ideas" guy, while gilmour and wright were the actual musicians, and when the musicians weren't able to contribute for one reason or another, the music suffered.

umm no imo, it flows perfectly and has so many highlights throughout the album

it's overblown, over-dramatic and the convoluted pseudo-fantasy storyline gets tiresome imo.
