i do like this album but i've never seen why it's held in such high regards by the metal community........ like it's really solid extreme power metal, but it's not mind blowing in quality and doesn't feel particularly innovative

I remember this being extremely popular when I first joined here in like 07. I loved it back then too and today this news I read of him still screwing over his fans made me go back and give it another spin. I'm very much so not big into stuff like this these days but some of the solos on here are just so undeniably good. It's too bad he's such an asshole. Are the 2 newer releases worth giving a shot?
