patton's schtick got old and he's totally phoning it in on stuff like tomahawk now but he's good on
this record, probably his best performance

Yeah, the vocals are some of the best in rock/metal in general.

dunno what that other guy is talking about because this is the album where his vox mostly lost that nasal whine he had on the real thing and the 1st mr bungle
