Wow ok just looked at that song's waveform (from a CD rip, so no weird compression in the interim) and that shit is fucked. It doesn't have much, if any, dynamic variance to begin with (and doesn't need it) but that master looks like a very squished square peg in a round hole

yeah no the production totally matches the style of this album. you want it to have pristine production?? If all their albums sounded as clean as SciFi, they wouldn't have the same reputation
