'could you do that with the sex pistols pls so i can finally take you seriously'

Lol, got 'em. Both suck. This is arguably more authentic though, which is amusing given Zak's comments.

^amusingly true, both in industry terms and that the Pistols schtick was more of a race to the bottom

Agree with the Sex Pistols comments - that album is hot trash. But zak has 'Spiderland', 'The Colour of Spring', and 'The Queen Is Dead' all 5'd, so I suppose I can forgive him (if he can forgive me for giving this - and _yes_, still thinking it's worthy of - a 4.5)

;-)

Are there any fuckers on here who having initially thought Sex Pistols was the best thing ever when they were 9yrs old finally found other stuff, looked back and rejected that turd?

Sex pistols instigated a movement. This is a bowel movement.

yeah you right, brand new was not influential or memorable in any way.

Harlem Shake started a movement too

Only reason the Sex Pistols' movement gained any traction (musically) is bc other more talented groups were doing the same thing significantly better. The Damned got there first but they weren't marketed for the same level of shock value who's fake now

That they were not important or respected by their contemporaries.

"yeah you right, brand new was not influential or memorable in any way."
I spent 3 months listening to every emo band I could find and made a compendium on the genre.
Brand New were not significant.
