"Sort of in between but closer to Face. It was great. Forgot to mention I managed to get the setlist and had Olli sign it. The new song is listed as "NAH Wot?" Felt like more of a jam similar to Cubicle Dialogue or Vague (which was so good live) than something in the vein of Disposable Care and Lye Solution. Being real though, I could barely hear Olli being right in the front and the energy was wild up there so it was hard to pay attention to every detail of what was going on."



Sorry for the triple post in advance! I agree though, Olli's vocals were so extremely low in the mix and I'm not entirely sure if that was an engineering issue or his vocals were just really shot as he did say during the show that he wasn't sounding himself. During some moments of the set you can hear him fine and others you couldn't hear a damn thing so I really wonder what was going on there. It really was the only negative thing I could say about the show and was a bit of a bummer given his vocals are such a major component to their music as opposed to some other bands where it's not as important. Still, the energy, crowd, and the overall playing of the band more than made up for it. I'll definitely see them again in the future if they role in town.

Yeah my brother's girlfriend got him to come outside and talk to everyone. He was super nice and even went over to the car where that woman that was in a wheelchair was waiting and he crouched by her window and talked to her for a while. I've met Sam too and he was cool. I probably saw you outside with the groups of people getting into Ubers since I was just chilling on the steps next to the entrance.

I'm from the Baltimore area so I'm not in Philly too often for shows but everyone keeps skipping Baltimore and DC so I've been having to buy tickets for Philly. I'll be up there again Friday for the Poison the Well tour, then again in June for A Static Lullaby with Scary Kids Scaring Kids, and again in September for Bayside's 25 year anniversary tour.

It's a bummer Olli was hard to hear during the set for everyone. I assumed it was because I was right in front of the stage and didn't have a speaker with his vocals pointed at me. I'm actually a little concerned for his voice because that was night 4 of them playing shows and he said he voice was already shot. That's on the back of him saying he wrecked his voice during the Underoath tour and needing people to fill in for him on some nights. Just hope he's taking care of himself.

He also dumped his water bottle directly onto my face during Clean and fuckin' soaked me. Lol. He apologized for it afterward.

I do remember outside waiting for the uber that a girl with some face paint, like a scar smile was talking about possibly trying to meet Olli and had just gotten an autograph from Standstill while she was waiting. I was pretty close to the stairs at the end of the show. We were just chilling by the hall exit near the gate.

Yeah there were a couple clown girls, lol. I was talking to one of them on Discord and she said it was her mom that was in the car. I honestly didn't expect to meet Olli but apparently they were hanging out inside for a while cause that big dude in the red shirt that kept rolling around in the pit came outside and said he was talking to George for a while. Still glad I waited around even though I look rough as hell in the picture I got with Olli.

I met Olli, we talked for a while. Super down to earth dude



Saw them play in Hollywood, an hour up from Miami. Set was super close to the band. Was there by the front. All ages show and it was sold out. They had their video game there. No barricade, it was personal and they played For the Attention of, and the whole set ruled, all the hard hitting songs.

Oh damn, well that pretty much settles that. Makes sense too honestly, he most likely ran out of cool masks and it probably felt weird hanging out in the back while the other members were mingling with the fans. I guess the promo pics/face video is just what confused me. Looked as if they were two separate entities. But I think that was the point, looking at him more tho Vince is tall as hell and when I saw them for the first time the first thing that entered my mind was "holy shit Contrast is tall in person"



So yeah, we got the Contrast face reveal before GTA VI. Insane times.
