Lucca with that 5 < 3

The tone shift from Aftermath to Rituals gets me going every single time.

Fuck yeah, my dude. Listening to this vinyl all the way through while reading with a cup of hot chocolate pushed me from a 4.5 to a 5.

I've tried my best with the Daughters album, it's just not clicked. Haven't listened to those yet, will have to check them out.

My no.2 is The Ocean, the Jeff Rosenstock, Aviations and Hail The Sun to fill out the top 5.

This year's not been as good as last year IMO.

I think 2016 was better than the past couple, but this year has had some gems.

The Ocean is fucking incredible, great pick dude. Haven't heard the others, I'll jam those m/

And yeah, new Daughters is an acquired taste so I could totally see that not being everyone's thing. But for me, that album takes me to a whole different universe.

That new Ken Mode is really under-appreciated

I've really struggled to find albums (other than this and The Ocean) that consume my world and have me just wanting to listen to them non stop this year.

2016 was fucking incredible, JEW, TDEP, Architects, The Fall Of Troy, ETID, PWD, Modern Baseball, The Lucid Dream, PUP and Touche Amore, so many amazing albums.

I said Dillinger ahaha. Vektor is another hyped Sput album that didn't click (the instrumentation is amazing but I can't deal with the vocals).

Need to listen to the others.

Terminal Redux is the album of the decade, forget JUST 2016-18.

Agreed that the KEN Mode album is pretty sweet.
