Bleach and In Utero destroy everything except Unplugged.,.

All the live albums rule.

I was 13 when this came out. I played it loud as hell on my stereo now I play it loud as hell on my I-pod. Somethings never change somethings...well.

For me it went.

‘92 First heard Lithium. Everything changed.

Heard a copy of Nevermind (Umbro top off and plaid shirt on)

Heard Sifting in HMV and was blown away, couldn’t believe a band had finally ‘arrived’ with so much good stuff. Bought Bleach loved it.

Insecticide released, had a copy loved it.

Bought Heart Shaped Box single on day of release. Fucking loved it.

Bought In Utero on release day. Abrasive as hell but loved it.

Unplugged televised, fucking loved it.

‘94. Mum came into my bedroom to tell me the news had been on and ‘that singer from Nirvana Kurt whattisname has killed himself’

Devastated.

see, unplugged is a live album and I separate it as it's own entity among their discog so I disagree based on that... as far as live albums go, it's my favorite though EASILY

It's one of the only live albums I consider an essential part of a band's discog, like with Metallica's S&M but obviously even moreso

"Where Did You Sleep Last Night" is their best song

unplugged is good for the non album tracks but the ones that are on nevermind and in utero are just not interesting to me tbh. those covers are def worth getting it for though
