I guess converge are complex but I don't view them from that perspective. I just enjoy the music for what it is, a series of tones and drum beats and vocals that fit together in a way that pleases my ear. I mean the songs on here gets stuck in my head so I guess they are "catchy" even

Actually, and trolling Converge faggots aside, this album ain't deserving of a 1. Even I admit that my rating of 2 is a little harsh. However, watching some retard get sand in her vagina and call me a fag every time I make a non-fanboyish comment about this album is just too fucking fun.



Maybe one day I'll finally understand this album, rate it a 5 and join the Converge fellating crowd

I remember I heard this album around the time it came out and I absolutely hated it. I was in a total melodeath and melodic metalcore (Poison the Well, Killswitch, Unearth etc.) phase then though and just didn't get it. I think I listened to Concubine and Fault and Fracture and just said fuck it. Now, I love this shit. Hell To Pay and Homewrecker are fantastic next to each other.



This will most likely be my next 5 rating. Although The '59 Sound and Boxer are giving it some stiff competition.

I was going to make a comment about Concubine/Fault and Fracture being fantastic next to each other, but then I looked at the tracklist and realized the whole fucking thing is a fantastic ordering of songs that all rule.
