Normally im pretty good at seperating art from artist but i looked up to Jesse a lot as a person, i even met him a few times at venues around long island, this album helped get me through the darkest part of my life and i cant listen to it anymore without feeling anger and resentment. Shit sucks

I've not listened to them since the shit hit the fan. Not really trying to make a point with it either. Just never in the mood, I guess. Like my subconscious is telling me not to bother more than anything else. Which is weird, because that doesn't happen with a lot of the black metal bands I jam.
Maybe its because I knew what I signed up for with those bands and Jesse was basically secret creep while I loved his music since the beginning.

I've always been the kind of person that will watch Annie Hall cause I think it's a great film, even though I think Woody Allen is a complete creep who I'd never support or defend IRL
Same thing goes here, wouldn't defend Lacey for a second but the art he made was unforgettable and will always linger
