Set times for me depend on genre. I wouldn't want to see a hardcore/punk band play over 30 min in most cases. Want most metal or rock bands to play an hour plus but not like 3 hours. Wouldn't want to see a DJ I like play under 2 hours

Although I did see Ween play 3 hours straight and it was one of the best shows I ever went to. It did help they didn't have any openers

Ya I do not want a grind band up there playing for an hour and a half, plus that’s like 50 songs lol
Arena/Stadium headliners should be 2 hours minimum imo. The SOAD x A7X show I think an hour and half each is fine, but something like Deftones where the supporting acts just aren’t that huge of a draw? Yeah those mfs should be playing 2 hours and so should everyone else.
Metallica just toured playing 2 different 2 hour sets in each city and they’re fucking 60, bands on the big stage have no excuse to not AT LEAST be playing 2 hours.

Agreed two hours is a sweet spot for a headliner's arena or stadium show. If you're at that level you likely have the material to make up the time plus you're in seats a lot of the time which makes it less taxing on the body

Yeah it definitely depends on genre/band for me. Dm and vm 2 bands at an hour each is perfect.

Glad you enjoyed the show too, Wildcard and GuyMan!
Cool, happy to hear you stayed for the rest of the set. The closer from Luminescent Bridge absolutely floored me (and everyone else like you said GuyMan). And yeah, those totems were so good haha I was literally playing Doom Dark Ages before the show lol Getting to be right in front of Morris was cool, because I really got to see how incredible he is.
Lol yeah I can totally see people not liking Krallice. They scratch an itch for me that few bands do (Kayo Dot comes to mind) and their output since 2020 has been stellar. Glad the crowd seemed to overall enjoy them. Mick Barr is a champ and I did feel bad his string broke, but he handled it well.
Nice, that’s cool you guys are sharing in each others interests. I actually saw Anthony Green at the Firebird back when Avalon first came out and just recently he re-recorded the album, so that should be cool to hear those songs (Devils Song, Drugdealer, Stone Hearted Man are great).
I uploaded footage of Krallice’s “Fatestorm Sanctuary” and I’ve got all of “Deliberate Fog” that I’ll upload when I get a chance. My buddy recorded all of Giza Power Plant, so I’ll see if he can get that on YouTube or I’ll upload.

Nice to see we've all had great experiences seeing them live! I kinda wanna 5 this now tbh. Been jamming non-stop since the show and just appreciate it so much more now.

I’ve been considering 5ing it! I’m a bit stingy with 5s, but other than being perfect albums in my book they usually need a emotional resonance as well, so I’d say seeing them perform it flawlessly in it’s entirety and melting my face off qualifies lol.

Ok yeah, had to 5 this. I may be digging it more than Starspawn at this point. Crazy what a killer live performance can do to your perception of certain albums.

Just finished jamming- 5’d
This has been one I’ve considered 5’ing for awhile but I was also hung up on the “worship” element of the album. Like, here’s the Morbid Angel part, here’s the Pink Floyd part, the Cynic part, etc. But it’s all done with such love and homage and it pieces together, imo, so organically. And after seeing it performed live…damn, it’s certainly a masterclass work of art. /rant
