It sounds better on cd apparently.

Plus buying the Boys Don't Cry magazine is a better physical item piece than vinyl.

Frank didn’t print enough copies (probably on purpose) so blonde vinyls are absurdly expensive especially second hand. 60$ is the lowest you will find anywhere.

Frank Ocean has not released music for a long period of time and in the opinion of his fans it would be preferable if that period of time weren't so long but in reality it is

You know he fucked up bad when not even his subreddit is defending him lol

Pretty shameful and embarrassing move on Frank's part. There is a swath of rumors going on right now and none of them are particularly kind to his behind-the-scenes antics for the set

the inevitability of any artist when their fanbase treats them as infallible

maybe not a good idea to have a guy who hasn’t performed live in 6 years headline the world’s premier music festival but hey sounded cool on paper

I don't think I ever told this story, but this album literally broke my ass. When it dropped in 2008 I went on a hike at night to jam it, and I wound up listening to it 3 times in a row in a secluded park while swinging on a swingset. It was a fantastic time. I wake up the next day and my ass cheeks are just destroyed. Pulled pork. Couldn't move for like 2 days.

Good times

808s and heartbreak was an ass blaster for sure. 2008 feels like yesterday

Dude's little brother died, genuinely amazed he has bothered with music whatsoever tbh

>it's Coachella season and frank is a headliner

>his first performance in 6 years

>he was supposed to be the last act out last night

>ends up making fans wait an hour

>has to play an abridged set due to time constraints

>show is called off very early due to curfew

fans fuming for obvious reasons but also because he refuses to take himself seriously ie doesn't release new music, releases overpriced/limited merchandise. so limited no one can get it and scalpers/flippers sell his records for 100's more. this album goes for like 500+ now. im sorry about his brother who died 3 years ago but dont commit to doing shows fans pay 100s and even 1000s of dollars to attend if you aren't going to take it seriously. (not my words this is from his reddit)
