I have always liked the prog influence but it was more "inspired by" rather than "This piece of music is literally lifted from Aqualung or 2112.
Mike used his own own unique chord voicings to make the acoustic passages sound unique. In fact, they finally show up on this, sun above moon below makes very brief use of the Opeth chords during the solo.
