Listening to the first time in a long time, and you know what, I still really like this album. Everything else they did is trash, but if they nixed the last two tracks, this is near perfect for me. And the GJ comparisons are so overblown, who cares.

the "casino columbus" video is seared into my brain for some reason. i think part of it is how offputting it is to me lol, the guy's facial expressions, the kid in the hospital bed watching tv static, the guy with the bunny head on. but whatever it's lit

I saw them live 4 or 5 times in like 18 months because they toured so intensely behind this album, and live they were awesome. I also loved the drummer on this, the drumming is really fun and he was excellent live. Jason is obviously a madman, but I was so disappointed by TBB I stopped listening altogether tbh.
