no he was less of a fag on mm and iw [2] but the riffs on this make up for it

I agree with your rankings, Thane. Pennie was a madman playing something different every second, yet with amazing restraint when necessary. I am particularly fond of his cymbal work and the atmospheres he was able to create. Rymer is very tight, but not as technical or as inventive as Pennie IMO.

rymer still has a couple years on him to impress even more. remember, he had pretty much never played this sort of stuff before joining dillinger. can't wait to hear the drumming on their new stuff.
