I listened to this album for the first time in like 4, 5 years? Glad I did. I think what impresses me the most about this album is the vocal work. The vox on this album are perfect for the 00's. The gang vox, the variation, the unforgettable hooks.
it was also the first time I've listened to Brand New since... That singer did that thing. Definitely adds a different context to the perceived trial&error, admittance of failure and desire for redemption portrayed on this album.

@butt I just personally can't stand alt rock for some reason, I find its blandness infuriating. it's the only genre besides mariachi and mumble rap that makes me physically pained by how much I can't stand it. but considering that, it's a compliment that I gave this a 2.5 and not a 1 like I would with lots of alt rock if I were to rate it

@foxblood I can totally see a lot of alt rock being bland. But is Sowing Season really bland? Degausser? You won’t Know? These songs have explosive energy, I just don’t see how bland can be the word to describe this
