Really con? There's some sweet stuff going on here, I mean especially if you appreciate HT and Meteora

Con you should check this, if you are into the heavier LP side. Some of their best stuff is on here really.

He's right you're doing a disservice not to give this a chance at least
|

I WAS into their heavier side but my tastes have changed so much that this doesnt appeal to me anymore
|
| |
I decided to check out the first track recently, and it was surprisingly decent.
don't know if i could get down to this in full though based on my tastes now

ah tis a shame my nostagia gets the best of me with LP so I really dug this and I just heard it now
|
| |
my nostalgia does too and I've followed them up until this album came out. when it was released and I realized I wasn't excited at all I knew then that my LP days were over...

Tbh almost everything in this album is as good as many songs of HT and meteora, in fact A line in the sand and mark the graves are as good as a place for my head and breakin the habit. Even the low points of this album are IMO better than most of the post meteora material

yeah I'd have to agree with that

All for Nothing and War are probably the weakest tbh

Weakest for me is 'Until It's Gone'.
|

Weakest are until its gone and the final masquerade, but still those tunes beat a big part of their post meteora material. One other hand, the highlights here are so good that they are at the same level of the best tracks of old school LP

rebellion and line in the sand are really the only songs ive come back to that much from this. might end up bumping it down tbh as this album doesnt have much replay value imo

The thing with this album is that the singles and the songs aren't as catchy as their material from the nu metal era. but if you like alt metal and hard rock this has a really huge replay value. Specially the second half that's starts with rebellion contains gems that are sweet and has some of the most clever lyrics in the history of the group. Besides tracks like keys to the kingdom or war have a lot of replay value if you like hardcore and metalcore, those are excellent "in your face" songs full of energy and chester showcased his abilities as a rock singer, finally the whole band in those 2 tracks perfect the concept that they had when they made victimized which mike said was the precursor of , in reddit he claimed that
