@Jac, no doubt man, and from what i've heard Cynic are indeed outstanding song writers. Anyway, there's not much point comparing Periphery with them. As long as modern Prog/Metalcore/Djent (which is more my kind of thing) goes, i honestly believe every Periphery member is very proficient at his instrument. I like their song writing, it's not flawless or a breakthrough in the sense of the word, but it's still pretty good.



I am aware though, that there are many bands more brilliant then them.
