Yeah, Nocte's 1.0 review (undeservedly) didn't help that thread haha. I thought the industrial/sci-fi theme was pretty cool honestly. They executed it well for the most part, but I understand why people don't like it.

I remember hearing this version of Metamorphosis after jamming the EP version when that came out and being blown away by the upgrade lol

I could never get on board with Marcus' voice either. His cleans are fine but his screams are really forgettable. Rot was sick though, I'll give him that. I miss the lead guitar parts that Discoveries and Singularity had.

think my biggest issue with marcus is he has none of the variety that adrian had. adrians lows are so essential to what makes me dig this so much. his screams also dont sound as powerful or passionate to me but their mixing hasnt been helping that either as the instruments barely have any presence too



also didnt know there was an ep of more adrian material will get on that asap

It's crazy how much better this version of Metamorphosis is lol. And just how much better this sound is in general.



The whole EP is a trip man. Adrian sounds so different. The whole bands sound is totally different but Adrian's vocals really stick out as a major difference. Definitely prefer this style of vocals but he sounds kinda raw on the EP too.
