I saw them live and they were opening for Thrice ... really weird combo because I'm pretty sure the majority of the Thrice fans hated them.

King Park is a bit overrated. It's an incredible track for sure, but there are so many on here that are better.

Maybe not overrated, but it has definitely overshadowed most of the rest of the album.

the whole bit where he talks about the scars on his arms and the projector screen bit in Benz nearly brings me to tears so emotionally wrenching

They played King Park and it was just as incredible as you'd expect it to be. King Park is only overrated in the sense that it's not the best song by this band/on this album. It deserves the praise though
I'm in NJ, tonight they played in NYC.
Really great set as an opener. Surprisingly, only King Park and Bitter Fruit from this album. Everything else was from Somewhere and Rooms but no complaints, they killed it. It was such a well paced set too. The only other time I saw them, they only played The Last Lost Continent from Somewhere and nothing else so tonight was a treat. Every track from that album was incredibly hype.
See these guys if you haven't. Jordan is a god damn performer.
