Haven't jammed their latest album so I'm glad to hear it holds up well to the rest of their work. Also, you made a very nice summary and I will relisten to all their stuff chrono before I get into Colored Sands.

Yea the new one definitely rules, I was kind of worried when they said it was going to be a single half-hour track but they did a great job.

edit: Colored Sands got me into this band, so I will leave it for last after going chrono. Listening to Pleiades'Dust rn, and it definitely sounds in the vein of Colored Sands. Not comparing these musically, but I'm reminded of Old Man Gloom Seminar II and III, because they sound like sister records with the second one being one song. Maybe that impression will change later, we'll see.

Yea they're pretty similar in sound and style so that's a good observation. I find Pleidas' Dust to be their most subtle release actually, not quite as in-your-face with riffs as usual but there's a lot to uncover with more listens.
