The Neurosis album I revisit the most...even if it's not the album in their discography that I've rated the highest.

Yep. Those two Brooklyn shows were the 2nd and 3rd time I've seen Neurosis live, and the 1st and 2nd time seeing both Converge and Amenra (I believe this is their first ever trip to the US also). Awe-inspiring would only be scratching the surface if I told you how those two shows went down.

I was at the first show and it was excellent despite my own preferences for a different setlist.

Verge were good but I went for Neurosis and they didn't disappoint. If they just went up there and played Locust Star and The Doorway I still would have walked out happy.

Tbh converge kinda disappointed me. Just felt like them going through the motions - and considering AWLWLB is my favorite converge album - i actually expected more from them regardless of how long theyve been around.

Every band played the same exact songs the second night. Personally, I thought the second night was the better of the two shows. Roeder really milked the tribal like drumming during the end to The Doorway the second night and it was an awesome spectacle to witness. I think that was the best performance of The Doorway of the three shows I've seen as they've played it the last time they toured the US also.

I lean towards being a much bigger Neurosis but I dunno I'm a fan of both bands and after last Friday/Saturday, an Amenra fan also.

"converge was better than neurosis and played a better set tbh"

I dunno what's your favorite Neurosis, but Lost and The Web instantly made their set the best set I've personally seen them play of the shows I've seen so far. Nevertheless, you're right to some degree. Converge's set was REALLY awesome for a supporting act set considering IMO how fairly they represented their discography from Jane Doe onwards (except No Heroes).
