I don't expect every artist to constantly give us something of course but with this band it's painful. Every now and then they manage to find an anniversary/occasion to post something random or sell you an expensive vinyl repress. Just tell me if I should move on!

There was an interview that implied so around 2017, then under a Facebook post somebody asked "what would you say if you weren't speaking in code?" to which the band replied "day one of writing a new record"

Karnivool at least released a single not too long ago, whereas Dredg is gone for even longer and their last record was an abomination

they are working on music actively, Gavin did an interview very recently like 2-3 months ago. The band are pretty active now. i know that they've said similar things before but it really seems legit this time.
some stuff is already written, even, i think he said. He said that the direction seemed heavier and like Leitmotif which was a bit strange to hear. Who knows what will happen lol.
