on re-listen this is a very concise record in terms of runtime once you factor out the bookends. I was surprised how short it sounded today.

it definitely gets points for that, tho outside the first two albums i've never though of opeth albums ever being too longer either tbf. longest is like BWP and that's still only like 70 mins, which is fine given how long the songs generally are.
