This is an amazing album, but nothing beats TLCW. The debut is actually my second fav — this would be third.



The Stars Are Projectors is GOAT. Halfway tempted to bump this up to a 4.5 tbh.

Well, I think that if even people like me who don't usually listen to this brand of indie rock can appreciate the genius behind Crowded West speaks volumes, no? Fucking hell, even Demon three'd this and he listens to quite a bit of indie.



West has so much energy behind it, it's fucking mesmerizing. This is just some poor man's post/indie hybrid. In my opinion.

Pika has some bizarrely extreme low ratings for someone with such a high overall average, guess he's an all or nothing kind of guy. I need to check Lonesome Crowded West, the best stuff on here is really enjoyable and 'Good News' has always contained some hard jams.

Yeah, if you checked my ratings, I hardly have many 3.0s. I actually prefer Good News to this too. Unpopular opinion, I know. I think my 2's got something to do with me being a huge post-rock fan. The album occasionally tries establishing itself on that aspect and fails, as far as I am concerned.

At the end of the day, it's just opinions, really. How am I supposed to argue the fact that CW slaps me in the face when I listen to it and this just bores me to tears? But again, considering the averages, it's safe to say most fans of the band prefer Crowded West.
