I just gave up after they made the movie. The animation just looked way too smooth and the writing seemed like it was for a nine-year-old audience (and this came from the show that once made an episode with a recurring joke about an actor who fucked fishes).

the new new Simpsons episodes (post shake-up in the writer's room) are actually really good. Nowhere near the golden years but still good.

hahaha i love that part, and the episode as a whole. not my favourite but top 10 for me.
