are you deaf or what andcas?
there's some obvious nirvana homage going on in some of these songs, and it's not just the soft/loud dynamic which is obvious.
|
| |
jesse also has that slight twang in his voice here which is pretty much entirely absent on previous releases which is kinda cobain-esque

brand new: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p03JSRyqoY8
there are obvious parallels here
|
| |
obviously there are differences but i said grunge influence. and that's pretty much what this album is; a dirtier, messier, slightly grungier version of TDAGARIM.

I've probably listened to this as much as TDAG over the past year
|
| |
yeah, which is hardly at all!

This album is bad... I don't mean shitty but it's just bad... Everyone can play their instrument well on this... Jesse gives a good performance also... It just feel like this album has no purpose... Sounds like they just went into the studio and jammed and kept whatever randomness came out of the session. The lyrics are especially hollow.

I'll admit that some of these songs didn't come across perfectly in the studio but seeing them performed live is incredible.
