"isn't keyboard supposed to include any key instrument? synths, organ, minimoog, piano, etc?"
Not always. The name "keyboards" might be vaguely used as a "family" name to include all the key instruments, but it's usually used to describe analog equipment, like pianos, etc.
At least that's how I know it....

@Titan, in one of your earlier comments, many years ago, you said you saw Iron Maiden play in front of 500 people. That's fucking crazy, man. I guess Blaze Bayley didn't have many supporters.
But, still, 500 people? That's insane...

Could be. Kinda ironic though, in spanish it includes any key instrument, except analog ones lol

Still, the numbers are just too low. Insanely low i would say. Probably, it also had to do with the fact that metal wasn't in its heyday during the 90's. If things would transpire in a similar way in this day and age, the would still play at sell out stadiums. Things have changed since then.

A Maiden lineup of Blaze Bayley, some guy named Janick, Murray, McBrain and Harris just didn't have the appeal.
They were great for clubs.
Maiden, to this day, struggle to sell out some US arenas. South America and Europe is a different story.

"Maiden, to this day, struggle to sell out some US arenas"
How come? Is nationality a problem with american audiences?

The bigger cities like New York, LA, Chicago, etc.have no problem selling out, but when they go to some of the smaller cities, there are empty seats up top sometimes.
Nothing to do with nationality, we'll headbang to all of it as long as it rocks!

Canada's even worse in terms of fan turnout (obviously population is a factor), but us ardent fans show the hell up m/

I think I've said it before but even if Maiden is one of the biggest bands in metal, I feel like in the US they have never been seen as an act as big as, let's say Metallica

^ that's the case with most american bands, tbqh

Metallica sells out stadiums in the US as they're a much bigger act. It's not even a thought for Maiden.
But for me, it's not even close. I think Iron Maiden is the best heavy metal band on the planet. Even their shitty stuff rocks!

Agreed Titan bro IM is huge here, as the rest of the world, way bigger than Metallica

Agreed.
I will never understand why Metallica is so popular as they are. I guess it's an age thing.

there's lots of context as to why that you're ignorning or not considering
like how they have "metal" in their name and that is marketing gold for the 80s
