Love the ambient codas to some of the songs here
Fuck I need a good cry maybe I'll listen to this later.

dude yyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeesssssssssss the ambient parts kill me just as much as the actual music
they're so ethereal and sad but also so creepy in a way, it's really hard to explain
Fourth of July was almost too much. To bad i'm not much a crier(at least not easily)

I don't cry much either, especially not until I've known something for a long time. Pretty sure I've teared up to this before.
Honestly a good cry to music is can be really cathartic.

@Asleep: I really dislike that line of thinking but fair enough. I surprisingly never cried to this.

I like being stingy with ratings
It helps people understand better just how greatly my fandom of something differs.

@Calc How come? If an album is basically subjectively perfect for me thats a 4.5. If its something I've listened to for years and developed some sort of unquantifiable bound to (but I sure as hell know it when I feel it) then it goes up to a 5. Works for me, gives a 5 that special quality

I've never cried to this (or any music, I think) but I can literally feel my heart sink every time I listen to this. It's downright depressing.

There are probably only like 20 albums that have made me tear up, it's not exactly a common thing.
I started to lose it at a fucking Drive-By Truckers concert a few weeks ago lol

It's depressing but Fourth of July also has a slight comfort to it

I can appreciate this. For my entire first year on this site I only had one 4.5 (TDAG) and only a handful of 4's. My perception at the time was that no album is perfect, and until I find maybe that 1 album (or 2 tops) in my entire life, I'd hand them a 5.
Then I lightened up, of course.
