their first five are solid rock albums that kinda started out a bit proggy (using this very lightly) but they really upped the pomp and whatnot (which led to a bit of their songs being incredibly fucking obnoxious) but the kid in me still loves some of that shit

Even though Thom has done equally beautiful things on other albums(mainly Ok Computer and In Rainbows) it's hard to believe the singer of their other albums is the same guy singing Fake Plastic Trees or Fade Out.
