I personally hope we don't see any new Rush tunes, I would also be incredibly surprised to see that. Hiring a new musician for a reunion tour is far less shocking than recording completely new tunes with a new lineup. And I think they are super aware of their legacy and what that would mean for them.

Rush has been my favorite band for 40 years and I’ve seen them live 32 times, with 4 more coming on their upcoming tour. With that, I completely welcome a new tune or two. It will have absolute zero impact on their legacy that is already carved in stone.

Idk how people can afford one ticket there never mind four, ticket prices in the U.S. are disgraceful (was considering flying to the New York shows).

I mean, I definitely wouldn't say no to new Rush, I'd just hate to see them crank out one more album and have it be super mid. This is the perfect album to roll credits on.

Both are valid points honestly. To be fair, if Rush does really release a new album, you can considering a Rush spin off cause Neil Peart isn't on it. I've talked to people who consider Fly by Night the true Ruah debut because the only acknowledge Rush with Peart.

Helix was a wicked concert, fuck I sold a lot of dope at that concert I mean, they had good lyrics. Like "Give me an R-O-C-K" and the crowd yells "ROCK" really loud, now that's a fuckin' concert. Rush just don't do stuff like that, and they got these lyrics about how trees are talkin' to each other, how different sides of your brain works, or outer space bullshit
