Time and time again I play Opeth's other albums looking for their best album thinking "BP can't be their best, it's just their most accessible... yeah, that's it", and so I put this one down for a month or two. After neglecting BP for that time I return to it only to find, "This. Is. Pure. Genius.". Why did I ever doubt you Blackwater Park? You are King!

Picked up the Legacy Edition the day before it came out because I work in HMV and I can do that. The cover is killer and the liner notes are interesting enough and the DVD's good for a single viewing but I already have the original version so unless you don't have that already there's not much point having the two as aside from the bonus live track the music's the same
